Soccer is for people of all ages – even the little ones! 

The Region 59 U5 program is organized as an introduction to soccer via fun and engaging games and activities. 
This program is built of players ages 3-4 years old. It is led by First Touch Soccer (https://firsttouchcoaching.com/).

The program consists of weekly 1 hour sessions every Saturday morning.  Each session is organized into two main parts: (1) instructor-guided soccer skills warm-up/development games and, (2) scrimmages between teams. 

AYSO is an all-volunteer organization, so everyone contributes with supporting all players as team managers (coaches and team parents) and game managers (referees). 

• Remember, allow the game itself to guide the kids as they learn. 
• Minimize interference with player learning (i.e., limit "coaching") and allow them to PLAY the game. 
• As the players need redirection (for playing too rough, injury, confusion), provide it with a smile and don't worry about adhering strictly to the Laws of the Game. 
• Emphasize FUN and PLAY as the kids learn to love the game!.
